The Castle Hotel in North Melbourne has fantastic function rooms to suit any occasion. If you’re looking for a convenient inner city function venue with plenty of parking then look no further than The Castle Hotel.

Whether you’re gathering a few friends, celebrating a birthday, hosting a hens or bucks party or organising a corporate event, our dedicated friendly and professional function team can assist in creating the prefect event to suit your style and budget.

We have three well designed function rooms catering for everything from intimate & large social gatherings to sit down dinners and corporate events. All rooms feature a unique contemporary look, offer privacy and many more features.

UPSTAIRS FUNCTION ROOM

Our upstairs function room has helped to shape many fond memories over the years. With plenty of room to move, it is our most popular private events space. Perfect for any large social gatherings from birthday celebrations to engagements and wedding receptions. A stylish room that can also serve as a blank canvas if you wish to add your own function decor. It’s also a fantastic space if you are organising a corporate event with its location close to the CBD.

Capacity: 80 seated – 150 standing.

Minimum Spend: $1000

Features: Private bar, AV capabilities, Microphone capabilities, Dance floor and lights, Stage, Canape service, Events coordinating, Fox Sports, Grand staircase.

THE WRECKLYN ROOM

Looking for a more intimate space?

Our downstairs function room is ideal for smaller gatherings without compromising on features and style.

The Wrecklyn room is the perfect spot to watch a game of sports with a group of friends, gather for a colleague’s farewell, meet up for after work drinks and is also a lovely private dining space. Minimum spend is $600.

Capacity: 40 seated – 80 standing.

Features: Private bar, AV capabilities, Microphone capabilities, Canape service, Events coordinating, Pool table / Darts, Fox Sports, Direct access to sidewalk/smoking area.

THE COURTNEY ROOM

The Courtney room is our largest function room. Take over most of the groundfloor floor and gain all the benefits of the space, the main bar and give yourself a little more comfort by adding a lounge zone. A versatile and urban party or dining room, sought after for its open space, choose to relax, mingle and dance the night away. The Courtney room suits cocktail parties, large celebrations and sit down events and is a requisite for any function worth its salt. It’s a stylish minimalistic space, modern still retaining some nods to an old-world sense of cool.

Minimum Spend: $1500

Features: Semi Private bar, AV capabilities, Microphone capabilities, Floorboards, Canape service, Events coordinating, Fox Sports, Direct access to sidewalk/smoking area.

FULL VENUE

NO ROOM HIRE FEE FOR FUNCTIONS

Great news! There is NO ROOM HIRE FEE for any of our function rooms.

Each event is personally planned, tailored and run for you by our dedicated and experienced function manager.
